Night Perspective

7/23/19

Driving at night allowed me to drive quicker without distraction some nights seasons can be used to get you to a particular place regarding your destiny without the distractions we've always seen night is negative when my actually represents hiddenness and can also represent a lot of movement in the hiddenness.Night doesn't have to mean negative it crab represent hidden.

You need the night to get to the new and the next. automatic features, wiper blades, lights. Being willing to have movement in the night seasons is something that many don't want to do because it can be inconvenient and it goes with your regularly scheduled plants just like driving from midnight to 7:00 a.m. when against my body clock but in doing so we were able to get where we needed to go faster so the night season May have you fight against your flesh but it may get you where you need to be in the spirit faster.

This month I was part of a road trip from California to Louisiana. During the trip I was a designated night driver. On the way back I drove from 12a-7a. While driving I began to notice things which I didn't pay attention to during the day. I saw a spiritual parallel that I believe will be a blessing to some of you.

Many times when we speak of a spiritual night there seems to be a negative connotation. But the night is still part of a day and it is also an entrance to the new and the next. We must have night in order to have day. Driving at night allowed me to drive quicker without distractions. There were less cars, less obstacles and less activity. It was a time when I could focus while having a lot of movement. In spiritual nights the movement may not be seen by others, just you and God. In night seasons many times it's not an outward work but an inner work and in allowing the inner work you're better aligned to purpose and destiny. Night doesn't have to mean negative, it can represent hidden.

I also found that things which don't impact you during the day become necessary and essential at night.  Reflectors have a distinct difference for night drivers. Reflectors naturally are material for reflecting light in a required direction. Though they are visible during the day they are needful and necessary at night. Spiritually I see the reflectors as promises...when you want to give up the light of God shines on the promises to encourage you to keep going. They help you stay on the proper/prepared path.

Light is also used differently at night. The vehicle I was driving had automatic lights, especially the high beams. When I would go around a turn or an area that was extremely dark the high beams would come on to ensure proper vision. But going through the darkness was needful to get to the destination. The Word is the light in all seasons but truly at night. And some verses come alive and are honed in on even the more in the darkness.  When needed they turn on or pop up automatically to help you stay focused. There are some things we have to go/grow through to get to our destinies. Just like the vehicle God knows exactly how, what and when you need what you need.

Being willing to have movement in the night seasons is something that many don't want to do because it can be inconvenient and it goes with your regularly scheduled plans.  Just like driving from midnight to 7:00 a.m. went against my body clock, but in doing so we were able to get where we needed to go faster. Even though in the night season you may have to fight against your flesh it may be the most essential route to get you there healed and whole. Don't despise the night, embrace it and enjoy the new view of YOU which it offers. MaShani Allen
