True Prophets
This morning I was thinking about the prophetic. Most times when people teach on Prophets they look at the old testament. Very few look to the New Testament or even John the Baptist, which is ironic because Jesus said he was the greatest prophet. Many look at his message and say it wasn't deep enough, it wasn't strong enough, it wasn't varied enough. Since when was that the litmus test?
His message called people out of their comfort zones. His message convicted and challenged hearts. His message caused people to make an outward expression of an inner change through baptism. How is that not enough?
People "knowing" your phone number or address isn't changing you? People "knowing" the last 4 digits of your social or bank account isn't convicting or challenging you. People declaring houses, cars, and lands isn't causing you to make an outward expression of an inward change.
Much that is being said and done isn't the heart or reflection of pure and true prophecy.
True Prophets equip! True Prophets prepare! True Prophets empower! True Prophets train! True Prophets challenge.
There is a shift, change, and overhaul not coming, but it is here! The defilement is being exposed, and the pure is rising!
