Raid Cans
I know this is a strange concept but watch out for those who hold Raid cans in your life. Yes, I’m talking about the roach spray. The minute you share a dream, word, goal, revelation or aspiration they shoot it dead on contact with their words of doubt, fear, unbelief and disregard. They see your passion and excitement as small, insignificant and a pest. Though the words the speak are odorless they are full of power. They try to kill, stifle and abort immediately. Some of it is said in innocence while for others it can me malicious. Either way you have to protect what you hold precious.
Raid cans aren’t just limited to people it can also be systems and structures. Some places and constructs are so limited and set in their thinking they are unable to embrace new ideas. Anything outside of their current structure is rejected, despised and sadly deemed worthless. For some this experience has caused them to start their own but for others it has crushed them. If you learn the mindset of the systems you are in it can help you avoid being in the pathway of the negative and deadly poison that can be disbursed.
Lastly, don't allow your mouth to be a RAID spout!!! Learn how to hear without judgement. Encourage without critique and support without input. Sometimes all people really want is to be heard.
